Ill Considered 6 – Ill Considered

Yet another incredible release from Ill Considered here. Recorded just over a year ago, Ill Considered 6 sees the group hone their improvisation and sound.

!!WARNING!! — Its about to get lofty —

Idris Rahman’s sax and clarinet lifts you up beyond the clouds, and in a heartbeat, drops you straight back down to terra firma, crashing, spluttering and screaming. A sound that is equal amounts agony and ecstasy.

The intertwining rhythmical strands of Emre Ramazanoglu (Drums), Leon Brichard (Bass) and Satin Singh (Percussion) weave together to create a beautiful signature sound which is instantly recognisable. Intricate, always evolving but always in union.

Still there??

Standout tracks for me are the awkardly Funk-fuelled ‘Single Leaf’ and the epic ‘I Didn’t’.

Recorded, mixed and mastered by Emre Ramazanoglu, Ill-considered 6 is, true to form, an impeccable document of modern Jazz music.

Bleddy good music that makes you feel. Well worth your time and money!
